Position Overview

FlyHouse is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Charter Sales to lead the charter sales team within our Private Client Group (PCG). This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through retail charter sales, developing and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and building strategic relationships with key industry partners. The Director will oversee day-to-day sales operations while ensuring an exceptional, high-touch experience for our high-net-worth clientele. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment and brings deep expertise in private aviation, sales strategy, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
•    Develop and execute sales strategies and initiatives to drive charter revenue growth, optimize cost efficiency, and align with company objectives.
•    Lead, motivate, and hold accountable a commission-based sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team performance targets.
•    Drive new business and client acquisition through outbound outreach, relationship development, and strategic partnerships.
Client Experience & Sales Execution
•    Oversee the full charter sales lifecycle, including client inquiries, quoting, contract execution, and post-flight follow-up.
•    Support and drive quoting and closing of charter trips, ensuring pricing is accurate, competitive, and aligned with dynamic pricing guidelines.
•    Manage client escalations and support the team in handling broker requests and inbound inquiries, ensuring a high-touch, service-driven experience.
Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
•    Oversee day-to-day charter activity, including flight and trip details, ensuring seamless coordination with Flight Operations, Maintenance, Scheduling, and FBO teams.
•    Establish and maintain operating procedures to ensure trip execution, communication, and escalation management meet service expectations.
•    Partner cross-functionally to align sales commitments with operational capabilities and ensure efficient service delivery.
Financial Oversight & Pricing Strategy
•    Collaborate with Finance to develop and manage department budgets, forecasts, and revenue targets.
•    Apply sound judgment in structuring trip costs (e.g., overnights, international fees, taxes) to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
•    Oversee pre-billing processes, payment tracking, and financial accuracy for charter transactions.
Team Development     
•    Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for Charter Sales Specialist, providing coaching, guidance, and support.
•    Identify training and development opportunities to strengthen team capabilities, increase efficiency, and drive productivity.
•    Foster a performance-driven, accountable culture focused on results, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Safety
•    Operates with high level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive client, financial, and operational information, ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with non-disclosure agreements.
•    Maintain compliance with the Safety Management System (SMS) and all applicable safety standards.
•    Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including FAA regulations and pre-trip protocols.
Additional Responsibilities
•    Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and organizational growth.

Qualifications & Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
•    5+ years of experience in private aviation charter sales or related field.
•    3+ years of leadership experience managing sales teams in a quota-driven environment.
•    Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
•    Strong understanding of private aviation operations, pricing, and client expectations.
•    Strong sales leadership and team development skills
•    Negotiation and pricing strategy capabilities
•    Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
•    Exceptional client service and relationship management skills
•    Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication
•    Demonstrates a high level of discretion and professionalism

Compensation: 

Salary: $150,000 base, plus quartley commission based on profit
